The governing statute for BC strata corporations. Section 94.1 creates the Electrical Planning Report duty, sections 90.1–90.3 govern owner requests to install EV charging, and Part 6 governs the contingency reserve fund.

EV Ready Plans & EV charging rebates
BC’s EV charging rebates are delivered by two utilities depending on who supplies your building’s electricity — BC Hydro or FortisBC. The program rules are the same; use the link that matches your provider.

Owner EV-charging requests — Strata Property Act ss. 90.1–90.3
The sections of the Strata Property Act that govern an individual owner’s request to install EV charging in a strata — the starting point for any council handling one. The request process comes into effect on the earlier of the strata obtaining its Electrical Planning Report or its EPR deadline passing.
